The New York Press Association and David Arkin Consulting have formed a strategic partnership to provide top-tier digital content and audience consulting services to NYPA members.

As NYPA’s digital content and audience consultant, Arkin will offer a range of services specifically designed to meet the needs of news organizations.

Arkin has more than 20 years of editorial and digital content and revenue experience leading content for some of the country’s largest news organizations, as well as spearheading audience growth for family-owned media companies and has owned his own media company.

These services include:

• Branded Content Program: Arkin will help publishers create or review their branded content programs, including providing a comprehensive 25-page handbook that outlines pricing, packaging, and content creation strategies.

• Branded Content Creation Services: Assistance with pitching advertisers, developing compelling stories, and wiring branded content, along with sales training to help publishers maximize revenue opportunities.

• SEO Audits: Offering thorough technical and content SEO audits to help publishers ensure that their content is optimized for discovery on search engines like Google.

• Social Media Audits: Evaluating and optimizing social media strategies, with actionable tactics that can be implemented immediately. Arkin’s team also provides optional social media content creation services for media companies and their advertisers.

• Newsletter Strategies: Guidance on building new subscribers, monetizing newsletters, and creating effective funnels for paid content to help publishers generate sustainable revenue.
